Gary from "Re-Entry Lock and Safe" came to our home this morning to install a new lock on the front door. The old lock, from previous owner, had the bolt bent and was not working well at all. Gary had to repair the 'strike plate' and recenter it. Also, the old lock had been installed 'upside-down. It was a mess. Gary repaired the area for the strike plate and installed the new lock. BINGO! 'what a difference we have with our front door. And Gary also insisted on sweeping up all the wood chips that had fallen on the floor. Gary is Grrreat! And he is also very kind and personable - as almost all these reviews show him to be. If you are having any problem with any kind of lock in Beacon - CALL GARY! 1/6/2022 Update - I engaged Gary to return and set up my outdoor cameras as well as video doorbell ringer and once again the service was exceptional. His arrival was prompt, demeanor professional, and he was able to configure the cameras with little to no effort. Definitely recommend Re-Emtry Lock and Safe! Service was exceptional. I called the night before and was able to secure an appointment for the very next morning. Gary arrived timely and was very detailed in explaining all of my options in terms of the different types of locks (deadbolts, multi locks, digital keypads) and the best placement to secure my house. He is very knowledgeable and gave his honest opinion without trying to hard sell any of his products. I would definitely recommend Re-Entry Lock & Safe if you’re looking for a professional locksmith company to hire. ~ Diana L
Gary was great! Would give him 10 stars if I could. I had called around to several local Locksmiths, needing to replace my 2006 Ford Explorer key and clicker, both of which had been lost. No one else could assist or they were backed up several days. Gary came the same day as I called (within just a few hours of my call), was here promptly when he said he would be here and called ahead when he was 10 minutes out so I could put our dogs away prior to his arrival. Everything worked 100% after he left. He was also a very friendly and helpful person and I would strongly recommend him to anyone needing the services of a locksmith. I had a very long day at work, only for it to end by my key breaking in the ignition as soon as i got home. Couldnt turn the car all the way off, couldn’t crank the car either & the key would not come out the ignition! Gary came extremely quick, even tho it was 9:30 at night & got my broken key out of the ignition and my new key made and programmed within 15-20 minutes tops!!!! So grateful to him for coming at the hour and also being very nice & working quickly!!! ~ Desiree W

I couldn't have been happier with the service. I had a young female tenant locked out in the middle of the night and Gary drove from almost an hour to resolve the issue. He was prompt, courteous and even accepted credit cards. The price was very reasonable generally speaking, but even more so given the time of night. He came when he said he would and maintained great communication the entire time. Don't waste your time looking for other locksmiths in the area! ~ Lisa P
Gary is AB SO LUTE LY the best, my husband locked the keys in his Jeep while running & couldn't find the "spare" key, he had to be to work for 0500, (my husband had to take my car), I called Re-entry Lock and Safe (after looking around for that "spare" key), this was at 0530; Gary was here in 30 minutes, opened the door in 3 seconds, this is a kind & gentle man, Gary, prayers & blessings to you & your family during this Holiday Season, Thank you so much🙏✌️ ~ Renee P

Literally your go to guy in this area. Got locked out of my pick up truck in the middle of a snow storm. Called multiple businesses to be told they couldn’t make it. This gentleman not only made it within the hour in the middle of a blizzard, he had every tool necessary to do the job right without causing damages. Professional as well as reliable. My son lost the only set of keys I had for our car at the Dutchess County Fair. Gary from ReEntry locksmith made a new key by giving him the vin #. It was a great relief because the Ford dealership said I would have to get a new ignition cylinder to turn the car on and new door locks which would cost over $1k. If any of you get locked out of your car or house (like I always do. This time my car lock AND key fob were broken.) Call this guy! Gary reprogrammed my key fob, discovered one of my fobs is defective, and troubleshot my car door lock itself. Turns out the cylinder pins weren’t interlocking to open. Which he can order and install for me as well. All for a decent price. SHOUT OUT TO GARY! ~ Maria-Theresa G
We needed a replacement door knob for our tenants. Re-entry answered our call on the first attempt and were immediately en route. From our call to completed job - a total of 50 minutes (that included their travel to the job site). Excellent response time! Two other locksmiths didn’t not pick up the call nor call back before we tried Re-entry. ~ April &

What a great experience. I needed new keys for a 2008 Honda and 2011 Ford. I called around 11 am and someone was at my house by 4! 30 minutes later I had my keys. I couldn’t have asked for quicker or friendlier service ~ merisue1
I was referred by an established locksmith in Poughkeepsie to ReEntry. Gary said he’d be in Saugerties in an hour, was here in 50 minutes. Finished in 15 minutes. Professional, friendly, felt safe. Highly recommend. Good price. ~ Ellen N
